Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 172 new cases today

Dacorum has recorded 172 new positive Covid-19 today (December 30).

The total for the borough is now 4,090, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been 1,513 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 37,377.

There have been two new deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 129, and there have been 19 new deaths in Hertfordshire, the total is now 1,143- according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 50,023 and now stands at 2,432,888.

The number of deaths has risen by 981 to 72,548.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Monday, December 28, and 5pm on Tuesday, December 29.
