Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 17 new confirmed cases today

There have been 17 new positive Covid-19 tests in Dacorum over the last 24 hours.

The total for the borough is now 2,068, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

The incidence rate over the last 7 days is 89.2 cases per 100,000 population (the period represented is the 7 days ending 5 days before December 4).

There have been 237 new cases today in Hertfordshire, the total is now 18,501.

There have been no new deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 114. There have been two new deaths in Hertfordshire, the total is now 1,008, according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 16,298 and now stands at 1,690,432.​

The number of deaths has risen by 504 to 60,617.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Wednesday, December 2, and 5pm on Thursday, December 3.

Dacorum is in tier two (high alert) along with the rest of Hertfordshire. This means that:
