Student company creates activity packs designed to help Dacorum children learn and have fun

Students in Hertfordshire have been creating a downloadable activity pack designed for primary school children to learn and have fun through lockdown.

Parents have been faced yet again with the tough task of getting their children to learn from home during the third lockdown. But, a group of aspiring entrepreneurs from year 12 at Sandringham School, in St Albans, have come together to solve this problem with some clever online resources.

The team has called itself ‘Tenacity’ to reflect the challenges of the current situation.

Since the start of their business, they have turned their attention to supporting parents with the challenging task of home-teaching by developing an affordable and entertaining, online product.

Conscious of the enormous task facing parents of taking on the role of teacher while juggling a home-work life, Tenacity is supporting parents to find things for your kids to do.

With their online downloadable ‘Activity Pack’, Tenacity has got parents covered. Whether parents need to find a little bit of time to get dinner on, tidy the house or have a moment’s peace and quiet, the Activity Pack provides a fun distraction.

Tenacity has been working to provide parents with more of a choice of activities to get their little ones through the lockdown and make play just as educational as it is fun.

On Friday, February 12, Tenacity will be launching their first edition of the activity pack, and have made the English, Maths and Science activities available for only £1.99.

Throughout the pack, children are guided along with the help of ‘Terry the Tenacious Tiger’, the cartoon character who helps children to focus and encourages them to learn.

Parents and children can browse through the pack and pick out the best and most engaging activities for them. Three more editions, including resources for History, Food Tech, Geography and more will be available soon.
