SEND school needs your support

We are Woodfield School for Special Needs in Hemel Hempstead we have approximately 125 students ranging from 3-19 yrs old with severe learning or physical needs.
We are trying desperately hard to raise funds for a new fully accessible mini bus so we will be able to take our physical needs students out and about in the local community and further afield. We do have a bus that we lease but having our own accessible bus will mean that classes will be able to all go out at the same time rather than half the class one week and the other half the following week!
To raise funds we have some collecting tins in local shops, TJ's in Bennett's end ran an online raffle for us raffling off a Pokémon card box set and raised over £400 as well as a cash donation of £125.
There is a go fund me page, type in woodfield SEND school mini bus and our page should appear!
We have received some donations from local lodges, and from Santa's sleigh, so at present we have over £26,500. We need to raise at least £94,000!
We are holding a charity auction night in the gallery bar in the old town hall in Hemel Hempstead on Thursday 16th April, tickets are £10, they are available from the old town hall box office as well as [email protected]
The school also have an exhibition of the artwork produced recently with Anna's Funky Art in the gallery bar until 30/4/26.
Please help support our wonderful little school the students and staff will be very appreciative of your support.
