"The 2020 results days have been about algorithms and indecision.

"However, today was important that we remember opening a results envelope is about justification, celebration and pride for a young person.

"Yes, we have those students who have achieved 9’s and 8’s across the board but we have also celebrated with those who have worked so hard for their 5 or 6, whether that be in English, Maths, History or Technology.

"Our school is going from strength to strength and it was a privilege to be amongst so many happy students this morning.

"We hope to see many of them return to us in September as they join our successful Sixth Form. I would like to wish all of our students the best of luck in the future."
