Adeyfield Academy reports consistent growth for 2020 A-level results

Students at Adeyfield Academy in Hemel Hempstead are celebrating another year of successful A-level results.
With the coronavirus pandemic preventing students from sitting exams this year, the results are based on teacher assessment grades which have been standardised.

Hide AdNow students in England awaiting their exam results can keep their grades in mock exams if they are higher than the calculated grade, with regulator Ofqual asked to determine how and when valid mock results can be used.


Over 70% of students achieved A*- C (72.1%), 32.6% achieved A*- B, and 14% achieved A*- A.
Principal Dawn Mason said: "Our young people have once again proven what resilient and determined members of our local community they are, by producing another year of growth for our Key Stage 5 results.
"Despite the interruptions to their learning, they have continued to work tirelessly to ensure that they are achieving and exceeding the limitless aspirations they set for themselves.
