A big-hearted bus driving instructor has raised £600 for an important cancer charity, after completing a remarkable 200 legs of darts in 12 hours.

Daniel Frantz-Morgans, an Instructor for Stevenage and Hitchin operator, Stagecoach East, took on the challenge to throw continuously - recording an incredible 100,200 points – to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

He said: “After 12 hours of throwing darts, I was absolutely in bits, but the effort was really worth it. The support I got from my colleagues, during the challenge, was very heart-warming, especially Steve Nash who kindly kept track of scores for me for the majority of his break. The donations came in thick and fast and raising £600 far surpassed anything I had expected.

“I really am over the moon with how my colleagues got behind the effort – we always say, at Stagecoach, that we do the right thing and this just goes to show how we really believe that.”
