House of Lagree Fitness introduces Next Generation Pilates fitness to Berkhamsted

Lagree is a workout method which combines strength, cardio, and balance through slow, controlled movements on the Megaformer machine. The Lagree method has been a phenomenon in the United States for over 20 years and this year, House of Lagree is bringing this dynamic, high-intensity workout to Hertfordshire which delivers fast results.

The new studio, which will be located on the first and second floor of 162-166 High Street, Berkhamsted, will feature eight state-of-the-art Lagree Megaformer machines, offering small, focused group classes designed to maximise results and build strength without impact. Unlike traditional Pilates, Lagree’s unique resistance-based method delivers a deeper, full-body workout, helping build endurance, strength and increase flexibility.

Co-founder Mel Patel said: ‘We’re really excited to bring Lagree to Berkhamsted and introduce a completely new style of fitness to local residents. Berkhamsted is the perfect place to open our first studio as it has a great community feel and is home to so many lovely independent shops and cafes. Lagree is challenging, addictive and incredibly rewarding and we can’t wait for people to experience it.’

John McLaughlin of Sorbon Estates, owners of the premises, added: ‘It’s fantastic to see such a dynamic new business choosing Berkhamsted as the base for its first UK studio. The House of Lagree Fitness is the perfect addition to Berkhamsted. Its innovative approach to fitness and community-driven ethos will bring an exciting new fitness experience and will complement the already thriving High Street.’

House of Lagree Fitness will open its doors later this year, with class schedules and membership information to be announced soon.
