A bar in Hemel Hempstead has reopened after undergoing an extensive four-week transformation.
The Marchmont Arms is awaiting visitors again after a refurbishment. Located in Piccotts End, it is claimed that every corner of the bar was renovated during the month-long closure.
Among the areas which have been given a makeover are the bar, dining areas, and seating across the building.
After the makeover, The Marchmont Arms says it can accommodate up to 60 guests in its refurbished bar area. The pub has brought in new festoon lighting and sofas to fill its rear garden.

The pub also has an updated function room which can hold up to 100 guests, it advises that the space can be used for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, conferences and work events.
Data released by the countryside pub shows that it can fit 134 covers across the dining room and also serve food outside.
General manager, Elliott Reed, said: “We’re delighted to welcome both familiar faces and first-time visitors to the beautifully refreshed The Marchmont Arms. With our brand-new look and menu, we want the pub to be your new favourite place in Hemel Hempstead this summer, whether it’s enjoying a drink in the sunshine, or enjoying a Sunday roast with family, we’ve something for everyone.”
