Growing Indian food chain opens latest 'grab and go' store in Hemel Hempstead

A growing fast food chain, selling traditional Indian food, is opening its latest store in Hemel Hempstead today.

Tikka Nation is trading for the first time in the town and is located in the Marlowes Shopping Centre.

With roughly a dozen stores in the UK the takeaway chain is predominantly based in the wider London area.

Tikka Nation says its menu is inspired by authentic Indian food markets and is aimed at people looking for lunch break meals or casual dining.

The takeaway store offers street food options and quick-service meals. Tikka Nation says it offers a high-efficiency grab-and-go experience. “We are incredibly excited to welcome Tikka Nation to the town centre,” says Humphrey Mwanza, centre Manager at the Marlowes Shopping Centre.

“Our core focus has always been to provide a varied and engaging environment for our visitors, and this opening is a fantastic addition to our food and beverage portfolio. The demand for high-quality, convenient, and diverse food options continues to rise, and Tikka Nation’s unique Indian street food offering matches what our community is looking for.”

Among the offerings on the Tikka Nation menu are samoas, chaats, lamb-based meals, puri puri, kebabs, and more. Among its current sites in the UK are two dine-in restaurants in Ruislip and St Albans. Tikka Nation’s base in Hemel Hempstead is described as a kiosk.

Tikka Nation offers vegetarian and vegan options and also serves a kids’ menu for collections and deliveries at its other stores. On Google Reviews, the chain’s other stores all have a rating of 4.6 or higher.
