Riverside Shopping Centre awarded stamp of approval

Riverside Shopping Centre has been awarded the Visit England 'We’re Good to Go' industry standard and consumer mark, recognising businesses adhering to the Government and public health guidance around COVID-19.

Reassuring Hemel Hempstead’s shoppers the centre is safe, Riverside completed the COVID-19 risk assessment, and showed that all necessary safety measures have been taken to support social distancing and maintain cleanliness.

Riverside Centre Manager, Ian Welland said: “We’re delighted to announce Riverside has officially received the “We’re Good to Go” green tick from Visit England.

"The safety of our shoppers remains a priority at all times and it’s great to receive accreditation from Visit England, ultimately reassuring shoppers the centre adheres to Government and public health guidance around COVID-19.”

A keep to the right one-way system currently operates across the town with cross over areas introduced.

Signage, posters, and floor stickers have also been implemented throughout Riverside to ensure the precautions which have been put into place are clear.
