Tom leads new comedy club
Tom Mayhew has just secured a wildcard place in the quarter finals of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year award, last month he reached the semi-finals of The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year contest and he will lead as MC at the opening night of the new Berkhamsted Comedy Club.
Tom said: “The comedy competition was such a lift the I thought, why not bring some of that great new talent back home for people to enjoy.”

Hide AdThe Dar Papillon Comedy Club, organised by Tom and his co-founder, author Leslie Tate is a first for the town and several of the booked acts are prize-winners or finalists in national competitions.
Headlining on Thursday, October 30 will be Don Biswas - winner of the London New Comedy Award and Leicester Square Theatre Competition finalist.
He will be supported by an entertaining line-up of up and coming performers.
Tom said: “There are so many amazing acts out there. This is a chance to see some of them before they become household names.”

Hide AdThe Dar Papillon Comedy Club, at 360 High Street, Berkhamsted, opens with Tom Mayhew, Don Biswas and support acts at 8pm.
Tickets, which include a free non-alcoholic cocktail, cost £3, £1.50 concessions.
