Showing at The Court Theatre in Tring from Thursday June 25 until Saturday 27, it tells the story of five old friends reuniting to see their childhood heroes The Sex Pistols in concert.

But it’s not really a play about punk, but more an hilarious and touching examination of friendship, nostalgia and the trials of growing up.

Herring is one of the country’s most prolific and talented comedy performers and his play is a unique and fun production that will leave audiences smiling and perhaps rather thoughtful.

The cast is made up of five regular and well loved local peformers, Dan Clucas, Mike Code, Andy Faber, Dennis Fugard and Colin Hubbocks.

Adding a female touch to the proceedings is another Court Theatre regular, director Fiona Quilter-Wood, who says rehearsals have been great fun.

The play starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 and £8 and are available online at www.courttheatre.co.uk or call 07543 560478, orvisit Beechwood Fine Foods, Frogmore Street, Tring.
