Musician Ben is coming home from world tour to perform on his own turf

Former Tring School student Ben Barritt has just finished a tour that has taken him to China, Russia, Hong Kong, the Philipines, Los Angeles and Southern Europe.

He studied jazz and guitar at the Guildhall School of Music in London and after some fruitful years on the London circuit moved to the musical hothouse that is Berlin.

He will be performing at the Iron Room, Tring Station, on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11 at 8pm.

Ben’s songs are heavily inspired by the Laurel Canyon and Island artists who blended folk/rock with jazz and R&B. He embraces an old-fashioned songwriting style full of surprising harmonic tunes but with pop melody at its core.
