‘I’ll fire myself!’: Law writer gives up six-figure salary to become human cannonball
An Oxford graduate and law writer who gave up a six-figure salary to become a human cannonball will be in Tring with his circus from next week.
Gary Stocker, 30, has funded 20 performers and a 1,400-seater tent. His show tells the tale of a 1920s circus saved from bankruptcy when it features the world’s first human cannon.
The show will be performed in Pendley Manor from Thursday to Sunday next week.
