The bandana-wearing bear first made an appearance in 1985, but how has he changed over the years - and has he had any lavish looks? Here’s a look at one of the nation’s favourite cuddly bears over the years.

A year later, Pudsey returned as the official logo with some updates to his design. The 1986 version saw Pudsey with yellow fur, sporting a white bandana with red spots. In 2007, aged 22, the famous bear got an updated look. The BBC Children in Need logo was updated once again, giving Pudsey a more colourful bandana featuring different coloured spots on a white background.
