Yarn bombers in Hemel Hempstead created toppers - through knitting and crocheting - representing children's books and nursery rhymes to celebrate World Book Day last Thursday (March 4).

To recognise World Book Day, Yarn Bomb Hemel Hempstead decided to get creative and raise money for BookTrust.

Book Trust transforms lives by getting children and families reading, they are the UK's largest children's reading charity.

So far, Yarn Bomb Hemel Hempstead has raised £230 for BookTrust, to make a donation, click here - the total raised on the fundraising page is a running total for all of the charities.
