Head coach Rowson quits Watford Ladies

Katie Rowson has resigned as head coach of Berkhamsted-based Watford Ladies.

Friday’s announcement came with the Golden Girls rooted to the bottom of the FAWSL2.

The club issued a statement reluctantly accepting her resignation, thanked Katie for her efforts and offered her their best wishes.

On the same day the club confirmed the signing of Guyana international forward Otesha Charles.

She scored a hat-trick to help her country reach the final qualifying stages for the 2016 Olympics.

Watford visit Sheffield on Sunday.
