Andrea Bettridge pulled off a good save to turn a shot from Sophie Lovell round the post, but from the resulting corner a header found the back of the net to put the hosts 2-0 up after 57 minutes.

The game looked over, but Levy kept battling and pulled a goal back after 71 minutes when Natalie Burrows crossed to the far post and Gemma Coggins met it with an excellent header into the net.

Levy pressed hard in search of an equaliser, but Brentwood held on to claim the three points.
