National Highways tweeted about the issue this morning

All lanes are open on the M1 northbound between Hemel Hempstead, junction 8, and Dunstable, junction nine, after one was closed earlier due to a crash.

National Highways tweeted this morning: “There are residual delays of 40 minutes on approach, please allow extra time if travelling in the area.”
