Retirement complex wins design award

A retirement complex has won a design award from the Berkhamsted Citizens Association.

Churchill Retirement Living is celebrating after receiving a commendation for its Sheldon Lodge development.

The complex of 48 privately owned retirement apartments and communal facilities on High Street, Berkhamsted, was commended as part of the Citizens Association’s annual Environment Awards.

The awards are presented to the facility which is considered by a panel of judges to have contributed most to the enhancement of Berkhamsted.
