Nuisance neighbours have been banned from their home after police raided the property and found Class A drugs.

The Dacorum Borough Council property – 34 Dellcut Road in Highfield, Hemel Hempstead – has been sealed off for three months to put a stop to anti-social behaviour and prevent crime in the vicinity.

After considering evidence gathered by officers from the council’s anti-social behaviour team and Herts Police, St Albans Magistrates Court decided the closure order was the best option after listening to evidence from witnesses.

Councillor Neil Harden, portfolio holder for residents and regulatory services at the council, said: “We are grateful to the local residents who raised concerns about anti-social behaviour in the area.”
