Friends of Kings Langley School granted the funding for Jack

A student from Kings Langely School has planted a tree in memory of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Jack, the form captain for 7A, Jack submitted a funding application to the Friends of Kings Langley School and put forward his proposal for the oak tree.On Tuesday (December 6) Jack was joined by his parents, Mrs Stickley, Miss Scanlan, Miss Phillemore and Mr Tubbs for the ceremony.Jack said: “She was a promise of destiny, kept now at the end of the Elizabethan age, Kings Langley School remembers her. She was one of the greatest leaders the world has ever had."He added: “Hopefully His Royal Highness King Charles III will be a green king. As a committed environmentalist with a long history of campaigning for better conservation, recycling fashion, organic farming and tackling climate change. This is likely to sit well with the more eco-conscious, British population of all ages.
