Going bananas for Hemel Hempstead's library opening
Libraries minister Rob Wilson officially opened Hemel Hempstead Library on Thursday.
While the state-of-the-art facility opened to the public in January, Mr Wilson unveiled a commemorative plaque, met staff and the public, and cut a celebratory cake.
He said: “By introducing innovative technology and providing flexible spaces, Hertfordshire is showing how modern libraries can work for residents in the 21st century.”
