Van driver arrested for immigration offences after police stop in Hemel Hempstead

A van driver was arrested and taken into custody for immigration offences after being stopped by police in Hemel Hempstead on Saturday night (December 28).

After officers stopped the vehicle further checks revealed the driver was wanted by the UK Border Force.

A police spokesman said: "The matter is now being dealt with by the Border Agency."
