Crashed stolen car flipped on its side as hooded thieves run off

A stolen car was abandoned after it was crashed into two other vehicles and flipped on to its side during the early hours of Sunday morning.

The blue Peugeot 308 was stolen from Beechfield Road between midnight and 6am on March 5, after the offenders entered a property through a rear door.

Shortly after 6am the same vehicle was in collision with two vehicles in Howards Drive and was abandoned, with three males in dark hoodies being reported running from the scene.

PC Chris Phillips said: “We urge anyone who may have seen a vehicle matching this description being driven erratically between the times stated, or those who saw any suspicious behaviour around Beechfield Road between these times, to please come forward and speak to us as you may have crucial evidence that could help us with our investigation.”
