698 reasons to be blood-y impressed
698 people across Herts signed up to become blood donors as part of National Blood Week this month.
This was three-and-a-half times last week’s figure of 210 sign-ups.
The number of new donors across the country has fallen by 40 per cent over the last decade although current stock levels are currently good.
