Kings Gate will be Miller Homes' first development in Hertfordshire

Dacorum Borough Council has given the green light for home builder Miller Homes’ Kings Gate development - of 55 new homes - on Rectory Farm in Kings Langley.

Following outline consent, which was given in June 2019, the reserved matters consent was approved by Dacorum Borough Council in March this year.

The approved plans will see Miller Homes build 55 one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, including 19 affordable homes, on the site which covers more than 1.4 hectares – it will also include a play area.

The development is Miller Homes’ first in Hertfordshire.

Katrina Crawford, sales and marketing director at Miller Homes Southern, said: "It’s really exciting to be able to confirm our first neighbourhood in Hertfordshire and we are delighted that it’s going to be in the historic village of Kings Langley.

"We are pleased the proposals have been given the go ahead.

"We’ve worked closely with the local council, residents and key stakeholders to ensure the development is in keeping with the village and will provide amazing homes for families in the area.”
