Santa's sleigh ride around Hemel Hempstead and Kings Langley raised over £10,000 for local charities, despite being cut short by Tier 4 restrictions.
Santa's sleigh ride, organised by Hemel Rotary Club, brought a bit of Christmas cheer to children and adults who came out to wave and make valuable donations.

Hide AdSanta wants to say a big thank you to the local community for their enthusiastic support.
He also wants to apologise to the children he did not manage to see because of the COVID restrictions – but promises to be back on Christmas Eve to deliver presents!
Beverley Funnell, Santa’s spokesperson from Hemel Rotary Club, said: “We could not have done it without the help of all the charity organisations and it was great that children could track Santa’s progress online with christmas.trackit247.com.
“Santa is even thinking of attaching trackers to each of his reindeer so that he knows where they are when he gets back to Lapland!”
It is not too late to donate to Hemel Rotary's I’m Supporting Santa campaign.
