County shows are a fantastic opportunity to bring country and town folk together to enjoy a really good day out and celebrate all that is good about the rural side of life in the area where we live.
And this year’s Hertfordshire County Show not only brings the countryside before visitors, but plenty of incredibly exciting main ring attractions too.
This year’s entertainment programme includes a breathtaking display from Herts Farmers Fantastic Forktrucks; the spectacular Devil’s Horseman stunt team whose horses and riders regularly appear in blockbuster movies; a heart pounding display from the athletic and skilled Bolddog motorcycle team; the national All-Human Circus; plus, by popular demand, the return of Titan the Robot comedy show.
Considered to be Hertfordshire’s premier whole community event, more than 30,000 visitors are expected to visit The Showground on Dunstable Road in Redbourn over the weekend of Saturday May 28 and Sunday 29.
Other attractions at the show will include traditional agricultural displays and demonstrations, 1,500 animals on show, plus over 300 trade exhibitors.
In line with the show’s community and charitable objectives, every Hertfordshire primary school is offered 35 complimentary tickets to the school and 91 schools have already booked for 2016.
In addition this year will see the annual art competition, with the theme of celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday.
There is a saving of 20% on advance tickets ordered before the deadline of Friday May 13. Advance ticket prices are family £36.80, adult £14.80, seniors £13.20, children £7.20.
