Explosion of sparkling colourful fireworks

An evening of sparkling fun is promised with the annual firework fest taking place at Tring Park Cricket Club on Saturday November 5.

Tring Festival Of Fire will feature an array of fantastic food and drink stalls, a guy parade and entertainment on the JR Smith stage from local artists. Acts performing will include the Tring School Swing Band, Rock Chorus, Sophie Ray and youth band Ripley.

Mike Naylor from Three Counties Radio will MC for the third year in a row.

And the centrepiece of the evening will be a spectacular, spine tingling and colourful fireworks display set to popular music.

The approximate running times are as follows:

5.30pm - doors open, food stalls and beer tent, carousels, sparkler area.

6pm - on stage, the Tring School Swing Band.

6.30pm -winner of the Tring Guy Competition and lighting of the bonfire with mini display.

6.45pm - on stage, Rock Chorus.

7.15pm - the main fireworks display commences to music.

7.45pm -on stage, Sophie Ray.

8.10pm - on stage, Ripley.

8.30pm - close of the event.

A number of local businesses are supporting the show. These include The Akeman, Tring Brewery, Tring Park Day Nursery and Michael Anthony Estate Agents.

Cricket club chairman Simon Shearman said: “The fireworks night makes a vital contribution to maintaining a wonderful community sports facility and we are extremely grateful for the support of the town and our sponsors. We promise an amazing night out for the whole family.”

Discounted tickets are available to purchase up to the end of October via the event website, www.tringfireworks.co.uk and Facebook, www.facebook.com/TringFestivalOfFire

Family only tickets can be bought from locations including Beechwood Fine Foods, Tring Brewery, The Akeman and Michael Anthony at a discounted price of £14 which covers two adults and up to three children below the age of 16.

On the gate ticket prices will be priced at £18 for families, £8 for adults and £5 for children under 16. Under five year olds have free entry.
