His show at the Limelight Theatre on Saturday June 14 starts at 8pm and will be finished in plenty of time for England’s kick off against Italy at 11pm.

After playing to a sell-out crowd last year, this Frenchified alternative folk quartet sees Godfather of Grunge Folk, Barrett himself, join together with John Devine, Mary Holland and Marie-Laure Hucher.

Devine recently made history when he became one of the first people ever to perform traditional Irish music for the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

Tickets cost £13.50, concessions £11.50. Available from the box office on 01296n 431272.
