‘Step into our Gorilla Dreams’
Gorilla Dreams was written by Sue Hampton and illustrated by Mary Casserley and is available at Here cafe as well as The Way Inn and Dar Papillon tea rooms.
It will also be on sale at the Waterstones bookstore in both Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead.

Hide AdSue used to be a teacher at St. Mary’s First School in Northchurch and has always cared deeply about promoting creative writing to children and young people.
There is now a free Gorilla Dreams themed competition that people can enter a story, poem, artwork or even a solo choreographed and performed dance piece into.
The entries will be will be judged by Sue and Mary and the deadline for entries is Saturday, November 1.
Prizes and certificates for the winners will be given to the winners on Saturday, November 15.

Hide AdEntry forms are at Berkhamsted Arts and Crafts, Dar Papillon and the library.
Sue said: “It’s my 19th book and the subject of a competition run in association with the library, which will host an exhibition of entries.”
There have been two events to promote the competition – two Berkhamsted Live shows at Dar Papillon on Thursday and a Gorilla Dreams event at Hemel Hempstead Waterstones on Saturday.
A third will be held at the Berkhamsted Waterstones on Saturday, October 11 from 2pm to 4pm.
Sue is in the presenting 18 school assemblies about the competition, and the Gorilla Dreams book.
