Members from the successful and established Bovingdon-based club will be on hand throughout the day to provide information about the club’s activities and how to join.

There will be special offers on the day, including half price membership for those that want to obtain a handicap and have the opportunity to play in golf competitions.

The occasion is part of Little Hay Golf Complex’s annual golf open day, in partnership with Little Hay Golf Club.

The event is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of age or golf experience, and aims to showcase the facilities and activities on offer at Little Hay to the local community.

As a part of the local charitable sports trust, Little Hay has a commitment to encouraging local families and individuals to improve their health and well-being, and playing golf is regarded as an enjoyable way of doing this.

Little Hay prides itself on being a golf course that is accessible to everyone on a ‘pay and play’ basis. This means that no golf handicap is required, there is no requirement to join the golf club, and there are affordable prices available for everyone.

The complex will open its doors from 10am-4pm, with a range of activities available for the whole family to try out.

The six-hole pitch and putt course will be just £1 per person all day, where guests can try out the increasingly popular sport of FootGolf.

Beginners who want to see what golf is all about can have a free taster lesson with a PGA professional, and the more experienced golfers can take advantage of £15 rounds on the 18-hole course.

For those who are interested in playing golf regularly there will also be the chance to buy a yearly ticket for the course, guaranteeing 12 months of golf for the price of 10 months – a fantastic offer for hardy golfers who like to play throughout the year.

For more information, or to book your taster lesson ahead of the day, please call 01442 507100.
