Pole vault ace Jess Robinson gets the season off to a flyer
Talented teenage pole vaulter Jess Robinson has started the new competitive season with victory in the South of England Championships in the U17 age group.
Jess equalled her PB of 3.50m which places her top of the current UK rankings for her age group.
After coming second and third at the last year’s National Championships – despite being the youngest competitor – Jess is aiming to win all the major UK titles this year.
She competes for the Windsor Slough Eton and Hounslow club which gives her better competitive opportunities, while training with specialist coach Ellie Spain.
