Leverstock Green Tennis Club is opening its doors to the public on Sunday as guests get the chance to look around and see what’s on offer across the board – including the licensed bar.

On offer on the day will be free 30-minute sessions for any adults who would either like to join in a session for beginners, or for those who have not played for some time and would like to rekindle old skills.

These take place from 10am to noon, and rackets can be provided.

More experienced players are welcome to mix in with club members and enjoy doubles play throughout the morning.

There will also be free open junior sessions from 2pm, where any child from the age of eight can go along and see if they are a budding Andy Murray or Heather Watson.

Activities, games and prizes will be the order of the day, with vouchers for Saturday drop-in sessions also being handed out.

On top of this, there will be a 20 per cent membership discount to all new members joining the club on the day, as well as a ten per cent discount on six-week group lessons.
