Hemel Hempstead’s Katy Dunne finished as runner-up in the Foxhills £25k international tournament in Woking over the weekend.
The final was a very close match, including plenty of long rallies, as Katy eventually went down 6-4, 6-4 to Swiss player Viktorya Golubic, ranked 232 in world.
Katy also finished as runner-up in doubles with partner Harriet Dart.
The week before, Katy was seeded number 1 at a 10k tournament in Chiswick and came through to win, without dropping a set. She also won doubles with Harriet Dart of Middlesex.
Katy is now back training at Gosling in Welwyn for three weeks before heading off to Australia for a two-month tour, encompassing six tournaments.
