Oaklands Wolves Basketball Academy is searching for new players

The Wolfpack is looking for young budding players for the Academy’s new U11, U12, U14 and U16 teams.

The free try-outs are open to both boys and girls and are taking place at the Sports Zone at the Oaklands College St Albans Campus on Sunday, May 31. There’s no need to book, just turn up.

The schedule is as follows: 10am to 12pm - school Years 3, 4, 5 and 6; noon to 2pm - school Years 7 and 8; 2pm to 4pm - school Years 9 and 10.

Academy director Michael Ball said: “This is a great opportunity for children who want to play basketball to get training from one of the best basketball programmes in the country.

“This is a chance for young players to shine and we’re really looking forward to seeing the skill and talent from local youngsters.”
