Rush Judo competition squad were back in action in High Wycombe for the NHC Don Werner memorial competition at the weekend.
It was a long but rewarding day with some very tough categories.
There were golds for Hannah Niven and Emily Niven, silver for Haydn Williams and bronze for Paddy Lish and Pennie Rumsby Ferris.
Gergo Berendi finished in seventh place. Gergo was in a large group and had some fantastic fights but was unlucky not to progress to the semi finals.
Coaches Laurie Rush and Pete Brent were pleased with the continued great results from the squad members and said: “Some fantastic performances from the team with ippon of the day going to Haydn Williams with a huge counter!”
