The Berkhamsted Trophy – held in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz – was won by Josh Hilleard from Farrington Park Golf Club with a 72-hole total of 280, 4-under-par.
The tournament was extended this year to from 36 holes (one day) to 72 holes (over three days) in a bid to gain world ranking status for the event, which boasts illustrious past winners such as Sandy Lyle and Luke Donald.
The best-placed Berkhamsted golfer this year was Paul Coburn, who posted a four-round score of 294.
The Berkhamsted Trophy is somewhat unique in elite amateur golf circles in that it is run entirely by the club and its members, who turned out in their droves to help with the organisation and support the 120 competitors.
