It was a successful 2018 for Gade Valley Harriers with members putting in some fine performances and achieving great goals, with personal bests (PBs) aplenty and many competing in their first marathons and half-marathons, as well as club records being smashed throughout the year. The club also picking up team prizes at various races.

National Cup holders Hemel Storm came agonisingly close to reaching this year’s final at Loughborough Riders but were edged out by a single point, 89-90, on Sunday.

After months of planning and anticipation, the England and Lions great Jason Leonard came to the Hemel Hempstead-based Camelot club the previous Thursday night to take a two-hour seniors’ coaching session along with Camelot club coach Sam Townsend.
