Jarman jubilant after narrow win in Seniors' Stableford
The Little Hay seniors played a Stableford competition on Thursday, with Chris Jarman claiming victory with 42 points ahead of Quinto Rafique (41 points) and Mick Milne (40 points).
On Saturday the men’s section played for the Alan Irwin Cup. The top three competitors all recorded 38 points as Phil Chester won on count-back from Paul Mudd and Sam Deering.
Meanwhile, the Little Hay ladies’ section welcomes golfers of all abilities, both those with handicaps and those looking to obtain one.
They will be holding coffee mornings for potential new members at the golf club in Box Lane, Bovingdon at 10:30am on Saturday, March 4 and Monday, March 7.
