Janice runs to second in Parisian parkrun

D&T's Janice Briggs ventured out to parkrun du Bois de Boulogne in Paris, where Janice was second female and first in the SW25-29 age group with a time of 27:39.

Tony Reeve made his debut at Bournemouth parkrun, finishing in 22:38 and Matt Salt tore the course up at Southsea parkrun to be second overall finisher in an impressive 18:12.

Andy Guilder headed to Lewisham for the aptly named Hilly Fields parkrun, completing the undulating course in 31:15. Rasmi Nanda visited Valentine parkrun in Ilford, Essex, finishing in 22:37.

Michelle Ashwell was on parkrun ambassadorial duties teaching Gladstone parkrun resuscitation skills and, despite feeling unwell, still managed to get round in 27:58. Carol Mcdonald achieved a new overall PB of 28:01 in woodland trail parkrun at Black Park.

Rob Deane was on duty as Run Director at South Oxhey, joined by Rebecca White who volunteered as the tail runner as part of a 17 mile training run. Alan Grover took on the off-road, hilly Tring parkrun, finishing in 30:26.

Making his debut at Ellenbrook Fields parkrun, Rob Salt ran his 51st parkrun in 22:45.

St Albans saw Andy Wass complete the course in 22:15. Amy Dilks finished in 26:38, with John Cooper crossing in 27:19. Peter Bailey came in at 34:15, making him first VM70-74 and Annette Howard ran with daughter Emily in 46:34.

Gadebridge parkrun had Kirsty Russell, John Jales and Michael Lamb volunteering and there were an impressive amount of course PBs. Jamie Marlow was once again first finisher, flying round in 19:54. Close behind him in third was Chris Marriott in a new PB of 20:25. Just three seconds off his PB, Richard Brawn finished in 21:03 to claim fifth place overall.

A speedy male trio of Michael Irvine, Robert Davies and Richard Stevens crossed the line in 22:03, 22:04, 22:05 respectively earning them each a new course PB. Michael was first VM45-49, with Robert second in that same category. Richard Stevens was first VM40-44.

Martin Kerr also flew round in a new PB time of 22:47, with Celia Findlay securing a new PB of in 23:29 coming in as second lady. Sam Sullivan was first VM40-44 in a time of 24:05. Andy Mitchell also achieved a new PB clocking a time of 24:44, Other finishers were Gwen Mostyn in 27:06; Jess Morrison, who was first SW25-29 in 27:43; Louise Flower, second SW25-29 in 28;02; Erica Klein in 28.48; Patrick Mostyn in 30:00 and Denise Burford in 30:42.
