Important win double for the Berkhamsted ladies' teams
The Berkhamsted & Hemel Hempstead Hockey Club ladies only had two matches this week.'¨Both teams recorded significant wins against close league rivals, with the thirds edging past Blueharts 3-2 and the fourths recording a 3-1 victory over Letchworth.
The men’s teams, meanwhile, had a full set of fixtures as – despite half-term unavailabilities – they managed to get all five teams out thanks to some help from Berkhamsted School.
It was a bad day for the frst XI as they were hammered 5-0 by Crostyx, while the 2s were thrashed 7-2 by a strong Stevenage side.
The third team lost 3-2 against Potters Bar, but it was better news for the 4s as they drew 2-2 with Stevenage. The 5s also shared the spoils as they drew 1-1 against Southgate Tankards.
