Hemel Stags celebrate at end of season awards evening

The event took place at one of the club’s main sponsors, Pendley Manor Hotel near Tring.

As well as players, staff, volunteers and sponsors being invited, a good number of the club’s supporters were in attendance, along with members of the mini section – making the event truly a club occasion.

In his speech, CEO Bob Brown thanked everyone for their efforts in helping to make the 2014 Championship 1 season such a successful one for the Stags and he also took great pleasure in telling the diners that former Hemel junior, Dan Sarginson, was due to make his full England debut just a few hours later.

The award winners on the night were: Best Forward - Eddie M’Baraga; Best Back - Michael Brown; Coaches’ Player of the Year - Evan Simons; Young Player of the Year - Maliki Lloyd-Jones; Best & Fairest Player - Jymel Coleman.
