Stags Head coach Troy Perkins said: “Eddie has been at the club seven seasons now and its great to have him on board for next season.”

He added: “I thought Eddie was one of our best forwards last season and he improved a great deal from the year before.

“He was a problem for opposition defences with the way he carried the ball and his work rate was getting up to where we wanted it to be.

“I am expecting big things from him this season in a competition that will be even more challenging than the two previous due to five big clubs getting relegated into our division.”

Meanwhile, M’Baraga is pleased his future is settled,

“There was only ever one place I was going to play this coming year, and I am happy to have it all official now,” he said.

“The club feels like home and everyone involved at the club is like family.

“It is great to be part of something special at Hemel and I can’t wait to be running out at the Pennine Way Stadium again, with our ambition and goals a little higher from what was a great season last year.”
