Youngsters can play Arsenal way at soccer schools

Budding football stars can learn to ‘Play the Arsenal Way’ with Arsenal Soccer Schools Herts during the summer holidays.

Arsenal Soccer Schools will be holding training programme at Sportspace in Longdean and Berkhamsted in July and August.

The courses, which are designed for five to 11-year-olds, both boys and girls, are based on the same techniques employed by Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger to nurture young talent at the Gunners’ academy .

Participants don’t have to be future Premier League stars to enjoy the course, which welcomes boys and girls of all ability levels.

The emphasis is on having fun whilst learning to play football the Arsenal way.

Each day players will trake part in warm ups, reaction games, skills and technique training, games, and matches and tournaments.

All players who attend the full course will receive, a player report card, an Arsenal Soccer Schools gift and a medal. There will be lots of prizes including the coveted Player of the Week trophy.

Courses are on July 27, 28 and 29 andAugust 17, 18 and 19 at Longdean, and August 24, 25 and 26 at Berkhamsted. They will run from 10am to 3pm on each day.

The course costs £20 for 1 day, £38 for 2 days and £52 for the full 3 day course.
