Young guns can have a blast at half-term holiday camp

Arsenal Soccer Schools are kicking off their holiday camps at Sportspace Longdean over the October half-term.

Last month, Arsenal Soccer Schools Hertfordshire coaches visited Hemel Hempstead schools and delivering fun football session, offering children the chance to learn to play the Arsenal way.

The courses are developed based on the techniques used by Gunners manager Arsène Wenger to nurture young talent at the Arsenal academy.

Arsenal Soccer Schools holiday camps are open for five to 13-year-old boys and girls of all abilities and follow the Arsenal Philosophy: A-attitude; R- respect; S- skills; E- energy; N- new thinking; A- all for one; L- learning.

The half-term camp will take place on October 27, 28 and 29. Each day will run from 10am to 3pm with players taking part in warm-ups, reaction games, skills and technique training, fun games, matches and tournaments.

The course is priced at £20 for one day, £38 for two days and £52 for the full three-days.

Arsenal Soccer Schools have been running in Hertfordshire for the last two years and regional manager Simon Blundell said: “We hope lots of local young people will come on our course during the October half-term and share in The Arsenal Way.”
