After the break, Bedmond went close on several occassions, being thwarted by Abbie Tarsey in Langley’s goal, and striking the upright.

On 57 minutes Amy Belcher’s goal-line clearance spared Langley’s blushes, but a fourth goal was conceded in the last 20 minutes.

Sophie Jackson reduced the arrears with a superb opportunist looping shot form the edge of the area after 83 minutes, but Bedmond held on for the win.

Kings Langley Ladies are without a game this Sunday, and are eagerly awaiting news on when then can play their second round County Cup tie.
