West Herts Premier Division

Croxley Community and Hunton Bridge were level at 1-1 in this mid-week game but Croxley turned on the heat after the break with 6 more goals to win 7-1. Three players scored braces, Michael East, Adam Seabrook and James Fitzgerald with Ian Lang getting the other, whilst Craig Hodges grabbed the Bridge consolation.

Croxley Green got over their disappointment of the previous week, when they travelled to Apsley Argyle and came away with a spirited 3-2 win. Goals from Harry West (2) and Chris Butcher gave them all 3 points, as they now move into 3rd place. Denis Fraser and Jack Bishop scored for Apsley.

Potten End hosted Croxley Community, with the visitors recording a comfortable 5-1 win. James Pimlott scored a hat-trick and Michael East and Roshan Patel got the other two goals for Community.

West Herts Senior Cup - Pool C

Caddington, who are currently top of the Premier, faced bottom team Langleybury Cricket Club in the Senior Cup and, as per many “shock” results in The FA Cup over many years, the visitors came away with a “not expected” 3-1 win!! Caddington played below their best and Langleybury took full advantage to get into poll position in Pool C. Ollie Illott (2) and Dan Johnson scored the Bury goals.

West Herts Division 1

In this bottom of the table encounter, St Albans City Deaf came away with their first win of the season, with a 6-2 win at Oxhey Academy. Matt Byfield, Abdul Hak-Benameur and Yaseen Miah all scored two apiece to claim a convincing win.

West Herts Junior Cup

In Pool A, Croxley Community Reserves came away with a 4-2 win at Rio Rovers, with goals from Robbie Martin (2), Aaron Davis and Abbas Khan seeing them home. Michael Dankwa and Scott Gilzean replied for Rio.

In a very close Pool B game, Hemel Hempstead Rovers 'A' came away with a 3-2 win at Chipperfield Corinthians ‘A’, having scored the winner in the last minute. They went two up but Corinthians fought their way back . Both teams had chances to win in the closing minutes but it was Ross Gardner completing his hat-trick, who won the game for the visitors. Dan Perman and Archie Kennealy scored for Chipperfield.

Chesham United Generals recorded a convincing 7-1 win against Oxhey 'A', in their Pool C game. Joe Baldwin scored a hat-trick, with Sonny Norman, Sam Whiter, Sam Ivory and an OG added the other goals.

In this two team Pool D, Sun Sports Rovers put themselves in a good position to reach the Semis with a 3-0 win against Evergreen 'A', who will have to produce some magic in the reverse fixture in a weeks time! Scorers for The Sun were Sean Bower Glen Cook and Danny Hall.
